Parents' Page

Each student’s success can be better achieved only as a result of a good family- school collaboration. The most powerful messages a child receives come from the two main sources, which when efficiently combined, can have an overwhelming influence regarding the child’s physical, psychological, cognitive and emotional development. We aim at having a successful partnership with the parents based on an efficient communication, trust and mutual support.

Activities oganized for parents:

Demo lessons – in order to obseve children’s behaviour in class and their academic progress, parents are invited to attend the daily activities.

Parents meetings – parents can ask for an appointment with teachers and the Principal whenever they wish to obtain information about their child’s school activity.

School counselling – whenever the teacher notices that one of the students faces some learning difficulties or other problems (social integration, emotional, motivational, etc.), that slow down school progress, the parent is informed and invited to have a conversation with the teacher. Parent’s experience and his unique perspective can be compulsory to finding the best strategies and methods when it comes to helping their child.

This activity is held each semester. For one week parents can take part in the child’s daily programme, noticing the child’s behaviour and involvement in the activities performed at class. This is also an opportunity for parents to better know the teacher’s teaching style.

15 minutes meetings marathon – during these meetings the student alongside the teacher presents his parents the portfolio, a summary of the entire activity up to that moment: school results, diplomas, worksheets.
