Clubs

Our school pays much attention to the pupils’ own calling and thus we offer them a lot of group activities and clubs to choose from. Every child is different and it’s important that he should be offered activities that stimulate him and develop his natural inclinations.
We strongly believe in this principle and do our best to offer our pupils as many opportunities for personal growth as possible.

The topics covered at the Clubs are chosen together with the children and offer a wide range of information from many fields: arts, business, communication, science, sports, health, music, dancing. The various activities take place both in class as well as in other locations, to help children understand certain concepts better and learn interesting things and have fun at the same time.

The General Knowledge Club

This club is a voyage into “The World of Knowledge” By approaching interesting topics from different fields, the pupils have the opportunity of meeting personalities who can share their passion for various careers.

This club aims at helping the children understand what knowledge really means and why it is important and at directing them in taking thus the first steps. Having general knowledge means more than knowing the capitals of all countries in Europe or reading a lot of books. It means understanding the world around you and learning to examine and comprehend it.

This is why the topics of our club cover a wide range of fields of interest, from traditional elements of general knowledge to elements of contemporary culture, such as:
“A voyage to the great cities of the world”;
“Successful people”;
“Romanian writers and poets”;
“Famous doctors”;
“Romanian scientists”;
“Famous sportspeople”;
“Actors”;
“Television people”;
“Businessmen and women”.

The Business Club

Through this club the third and fourth-grade pupils get acquainted with a series of key concepts from the contemporary economic and social life, such as: employer, market research, customer, innovator, company, auction, marketing, offer, market, profit, product, advertising, business plan, society.

The business world is a central part of today’s society. Learning these concepts is useful for every child’s further business education as well as for his better understanding of the world he lives in.

The club consists of interactive modules which help the pupils discover, by means of engaging discussions, the connection between concepts and the every day life.

The club aims at developing the pupils’ following skills: critical thinking, needs identification, decision-making, team work, responsibility, problem solving, reasoning, negotiation, communication.
