Accreditations and Awards

The Olga Gudynn International School enjoys national and international recognition, which stands as proof of the quality of our education system and our modern teaching methods which place the student’s interest in the center of attention.

In our efforts to hold this school at the highest international standards and to implement the most efficient teaching strategies, the Olga Gudynn International School has requested thorough evaluations which have allowed it to be accepted within the International Schools Association and the Central (ISA) &Eastern European Schools Association(CEESA).

This way, the Olga Gudynn International School becomes the first ISA member in Romania and the second to be accepted within the CEESA, together with the American International School of Bucharest.

Following the inspection of October 2010, OGIS has been accepted within the most prestigious organization for recognizing international schools in Europe- the United Kingdom based European Council of International Schools (ECIS). Such international recognition reflects the high standards of teaching within the Olga Gudynn International School, as well as the exceptional quality of its available resources.

Still, the Olga Gudynn International School continues its process of international acknowledgement, the next step being the affiliation to other international organizations, such as the Council of British International Schools (COBIS).

The Olga Gudynn International School is also a center for examinations on behalf of the prestigious British board the Anglia Examination Syndicate, which, in turn, is the examinations center for the Chichester College in the United Kingdom. This entitles our school to perform the entire range of examinations concerning English for the elementary, middle-school, high-school and masters levels.
