Parents’ Page

Each student’s success in education may be achieved only through a good collaboration between his/her family and the school institution, a fact which has an overwhelming positive impact on the child’s development at a physical, mental, cognitive, as well as emotional level.

We hope to have a close partnership with the parents, based on mutual trust and support.
The school is the place where the children will spend most of their time and therefore they should feel at home there, cared for, respected and understood.

Activities organized for parents:

Demo lessons – parents are invited to attend daily activities so that they can observe their students’ behaviour during classes. This is an opportunity for the children to display their skills in front of their parents, showing them how active and involved they are.

Meetings with the parents – parents can ask for a meeting with the teaching staff anytime they wish to obtain information about the child’s progress.

School counseling – if the teaching staff notice any difficulties regarding a child’s progress, the parents will be informed and invited to discuss the best strategies in the child’s best interest.

Open doors week – this period takes place once every semester. For one week parents can attend their children’s daily schedule in order to observe their behaviour, their response to teaching activities and they can also get familiar with the teaching methods.

The 15-minute meetings marathon – during these meetings, the students, together with their teacher will present their personal portfolio to their parents. The students will make a brief presentation of their progress up to that point, their best works, awards, school results, together with a brief report of their extracurricular activities.
