Living Values și Prețuiește Viața într-un parteneriat strâns

Dragi părinți,

Avem plăcerea de a vă informa cu privire la finalitatea acțiunilor noastre caritabile. Împreună cu invitatul nostru special în școală și partener al Echipei Living Values, doamna Andreea Marin-Bănică, am selectat două cazuri din baza de date a fundației Prețuiește viața.

Astfel, datorită generozității dumneavoastră am reușit să sprijinim cazul unei fetițe de 3 ani și 2 luni, donând suma de de 20.000 RON, strânsă în urma Târgurilor de Paște, organizate în toate cele 6 sedii OGIS în luna aprilie 2012.

Fetița a fost diagnosticată de curând cu o boală rară, tirosinemie de tip I, care se încadrează în tipul bolilor metabolice. Fetița suportă dureri foarte mari de oase, nu poate merge, organele interne i s-au mărit, iar tratamentul este foarte costisitor.

De asemenea, ajutoarele strânse în urma Campaniei “Cutiuța de Pantofi” au fost donate copiilor de la “Casa Lidia”- o casă de copii care îi ajută pe copiii abandonați sau orfani, să trăiască într-o familie și să-și clădească propria lor viața. Elevii OGIS au fost bucuroși să împărtășească bucuria și dragostea lor cu acești minunați copii, au jucat fotbal, s-au distrat, iar diferențele dintre ei nu au contat.

Vă mulțumim pentru că împreună învățăm să fim mai buni, reușim să facem multe lucruri frumoase, să ajutăm și să aducem bucurie în sufletele celor din jur.

English Contest "eTwinning's contest "Made for Europe""

Thursday, the 15th of March 2012, the 5th graders have participated in the National Contest, Made for Europe. They presented the results of the Comenius Project in front of a committee formed out of the International Educational Projects Inspector, teachers and principals from different school units. We are very proud of our students who have obtained second place in all the categories presented. Congratulations to all the participants and to Mrs. Aida Panait, our teacher who has coordinated the students.

English Contest "Evaluare în Educație"

Congratulations to all our pupils and to their teachers who have successfully represented OGIS in the contest Assessment in Education under the aegis of the Romanian Academy.

The students have worked hard all year long and to prove their language skills and competences they participated Saturday, the 24th of March, in the English Language Contest at School no. 52, sector 2, Bucharest.

Assessment in education is primarily a means of self-assessment, an evaluation of one’s own abilities, referring to standards that future society proposes and in the same time requires.

They obtained the golden medal:
Constantinescu Anna, third grade student, 100 p
Ile Dragoş, third grade student, 100 p

They obtained the silver medal:
Dorcea Flavia, second grade student, 99p
Negoiţa Harold, third grade student, 99p
Pacea Maria, third grade student, 99p

He obtained the bronze medal:
Neacşa Matei, fourth grade student, 98p

OGIS Team "Living Values"

Living Values Team was created due to OGIS’ desire to help the less fortunate ones, those who need or support and to bring joy and hope into their hearts. The team is formed out of three members: Radu Priboi, 4th grade and David Țigău, 5th grade and Ms. Ana Lungu, Events Coordinator.
Apart from organizing and coordinating charity events, Living Values Team wishes to promote values such as: kindness, generosity, honour, friendship and to give those who want to join OGIS in helping the others, the chance to do so.
Therefore, we invite all OGIS students and parents to contribute with ideas for charity events and campaigns.

Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much!

Christmas Show “Hosanna Rock”

School shows are special moments which encompass a term’s activity or mark the end of the term/ school year. The Christmas Show had a double meaning to us, due to the fact that we both celebrated the Birth of Jesus Christ as well as ended the First term. This year, our talented students have put up a wonderful show, a musical based on the scene of the Birth of Jesus Christ. We congratulate all the students and teachers for the special and unique moments.

Charity Event 'Elderly Center'

Becuase Christmas is so near and because we are willing to help the less fortunate ones, in order for them to feel the joy of Christmas, we thought to visit a nursing home. The children were thirlled to have the opportunity to decorate a Christmas Tree and offer presents to the elderly, singing carols with their teacher who played the guitar.

Charity Event 'The Little Shoe Box'

Christmas is near! This year Santa Claus asked OGIS Team to help him bring joy to some less fortunate children.

Therefore, children have brought shoe boxes full of sweets, toys and school supplies. All the things gathered will be taken to Valea Plopului, in order to bring joy to some less fortunate children. We thank you for joining our initiative, helping us raise a great number of magical boxes. Together we can now be Santa Claus for a day!
